What Makes Boone County Unique? Boone County, Indiana is nestled right along I-65 between Indianapolis and Lafayette. Our small businesses have shaped the unique character, culture and community in each of our historic downtowns. With our tremendous growth, it's important for us now, more than ever, to support entrepreneurial survival and expansion. Why? Because our economy depends on it. For every $100 spent locally, at least $68 stays in the local economy. We want Boone County to be a lively place for everyone to enjoy from sunrise to sunset.
